Blue Ribbon Fish Company Gets Funding for New Truck

First Truck Delivered Blue Ribbon Fish Proudly Takes Delivery of Peterbilt truck

Established in 1931, Blue Ribbon Fish Company is a seafood dealer based in the Bronx’s New Fulton Fish Market.  Blue Ribbon’s diverse line of fresh and frozen seafood products coupled with a high level of service and integrity set it apart from its competitors. The Blue Ribbon Fish Company learned about the Hunts Point Clean Truck Program (CTP) from Milea Truck Sales, one of the vendors in the program’s network.

Blue Ribbon Fish Company has some environmental practices in place and prides itself on recycling as much of its waste as possible, even sending the left-over bones from their products to farms so they can be turned into feed for livestock. Upon learning about the Hunts Point CTP, the company decided to apply because they knew the rebate funds would save them money on the purchase of a new truck.

Blue Ribbon Fish Company had a pleasant experience working with the Hunts Point CTP Team. By participating in the Hunts Point CTP, Blue Ribbon Fish Company saved money on the purchase of a new Class 5 2012 Isuzu NQR truck, while being a good neighbor to the people who live near the Bronx facility.

According to Mr. Warren Kremlin, Vice President of Sales, “Blue Ribbon Fish Company would recommend the Hunts Point CTP to other fleets because this is a no-nonsense, results-driven program that helps the environment, encourages good neighbor practices from area fleets, and got our company into a newer truck with the help of rebate funding.”
