Welcome to the Hunts Point Clean Trucks Program!

Hunts Point 500 Clean Trucks Milestone - NYCDOTWe celebrated an exciting milestone on Thursday, December 3, 2015!

The HPCTP is within reach of replacing 500 older heavy-polluting diesel trucks with 2010 EPA emission compliant diesel-hybrid, compressed natural gas, and diesel Class 3 to Class 8 trucks. These 500 new trucks have resulted in significant environmental benefits by helping to improve air quality in the South Bronx.

Thank you to all who joined us at Hostos Community College to hear about our HPCTP successes in bringing cleaner air to the South Bronx.  We heard from South Bronx community leaders, the NYCDOT, and from fleet managers who shared their positive experiences with their new trucks.

Thank you to all our Hunts Point Clean Trucks Program (HPCTP) applicants, awardees, vendors and stakeholders! Your participation in the HPCTP has resulted in the successful submittal of applications for rebate funds that meet the HPCTP round three incentive rebate award limits.  As of July 2015, we are processing wait listed applications for round three funding.  At this time, all round three funds have been committed.

The New York City Department of Transportation is seeking additional funding for the HPCTP. We will continue to update the website as information becomes available regarding any additional rebate incentive funding under the HPCTP.
